Hole #14 is a treacherous par 3 that has the capability of playing anywhere from 134 yards
to 161 yards depending on the tee and pin placement.
With a howling southeast Texas wind
that blows into you from the right, players are forced to hit anything from a 4-iron to a wedge.
The player will hit the tee shot into a kidney shaped green, that is guarded by a pot bunker on
the front right and water that surrounds the entire left hand portion. The bail out area is the front
right portion of the green. However, there is no guarantee of a two-putt. Missing the green
back and to the right places you on a steep slope, with a tricky downhill chip back towards
the hole. Like anyone of the other par threes at Los Lagos, a big number can be lurking
with an errant shot.
